Wife to a wonderful and humerous computer geek, I stay at home with our five children (11, 9.5, 6.5, 4.5 & 20m)and homeschool in the classical & slightly CM style. I love the Lord Jesus and am glad to be used by Him to train up my little blessings in His truth. God has given me organizational skills and a great enjoyment of music and the outdoors. I love to scrapbook any time I possibly can (24/7 if I could)!
This blog is a place for me to post thoughts and plans about our journey in educating our children. I hope also that it will serve to remind myself and others of the blessings of raising & educating our children. For this reason, we have named our homeschool after Psalm 127:3. Our prayer is that our home may be a place of living for Christ, learning to follow Him and growing a legacy of His truth that spans many generations! May I never forget in the tough days, that I am a steward to the most beautiful gift that God could give us - children!
What a neat thing for the kids to see. We had a nest last spring in view of our front window. It was so neat to see the babies and the mom feeding them. The girls still talk about it.
Enjoy and Happy Spring.
On another note...know anything about Winter's promise curriculum or someone who uses it?
