...the mouths of babes!

We stayed at a hotel one night this past weekend:
Jefferson (6): Daddy, why is it called 'Homewood Suites'?
DH: Because they want it to feel like home, I guess.
Jefferson: Well it doesn't. First of all, there's no nightlight. And when the lights are all out, there is still light that comes in and keeps me from sleeping!

(Hey, make up your mind kid - do you want light or not?)

That's so cute - he's right... there is no place like home. (He's also right about that annoying light under the door - it seems so bright!) Still, my kids love the rare times we have to stay in a hotel.
