Wife to a wonderful and humerous computer geek, I stay at home with our five children (11, 9.5, 6.5, 4.5 & 20m)and homeschool in the classical & slightly CM style. I love the Lord Jesus and am glad to be used by Him to train up my little blessings in His truth. God has given me organizational skills and a great enjoyment of music and the outdoors. I love to scrapbook any time I possibly can (24/7 if I could)!
This blog is a place for me to post thoughts and plans about our journey in educating our children. I hope also that it will serve to remind myself and others of the blessings of raising & educating our children. For this reason, we have named our homeschool after Psalm 127:3. Our prayer is that our home may be a place of living for Christ, learning to follow Him and growing a legacy of His truth that spans many generations! May I never forget in the tough days, that I am a steward to the most beautiful gift that God could give us - children!
As if Jefferson isn't already looking like such a young man (age 9 1/2), he had to get glasses in January (2011) which just make him look so much older! Sigh.... no more little boy here...
But at least his growing means some great benefits for Mommy & Daddy: snowshoveling (still willingly) for instance! :-)
