Wife to a wonderful and humerous computer geek, I stay at home with our five children (11, 9.5, 6.5, 4.5 & 20m)and homeschool in the classical & slightly CM style. I love the Lord Jesus and am glad to be used by Him to train up my little blessings in His truth. God has given me organizational skills and a great enjoyment of music and the outdoors. I love to scrapbook any time I possibly can (24/7 if I could)!
This blog is a place for me to post thoughts and plans about our journey in educating our children. I hope also that it will serve to remind myself and others of the blessings of raising & educating our children. For this reason, we have named our homeschool after Psalm 127:3. Our prayer is that our home may be a place of living for Christ, learning to follow Him and growing a legacy of His truth that spans many generations! May I never forget in the tough days, that I am a steward to the most beautiful gift that God could give us - children!
Note to self - sourcream doughnuts are NOT health food!! They have NO nutritional value and shall not pass my lips again, if it means burning down the local D&D..... *sigh*
It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to the yoke of slavery.
LOL! Sorry I haven't been around much lately. We've had a great start to the school year, due at least in part to the fact that I've ignored the computer. ;-) I'm going to aim for some balance ... I may visit less often, but I'm still here.
Of course sour cream donuts aren't good for you silly! Now chocolate glazed donuts, THAT's good for you since everyone knows chocolate is an essential food group :)

Nothing like a little reality check in the nutrition department. Nothing is worth all that- not even a donut.
I like your quote at the end. You hit the money with that verse.
