Wordless Wednesday

Ok - this one can't quite be wordless since it has a story also. Dh and I were youth leaders at church (8 years ago) and they had an 80's night. I teased the daylights out of my hair (it took days to get the hairspray out), visited the Goodwill for some older clothes and even 'pegged' those pants. All fine and dandy if no one sees me looking like this (except the youth group), right? Well I picked this night to rear-end someone's truck! Seriously - I had to get out of the car and exchange info with the guy looking like a freak from 1982! It was totally NOT radical, man! LOL!

I'm always worried the same thing will happen to me when I drive my daughter to school in my "just out of bed" look. I hope you had a fun evening in spite of things!

Happy WW!

How funny. Great get-up. How did we do that to our hair every day? And why was it so important to show the color of our socks? Some of that 80s stuff just has no explanation.... :)

I has socks that exact same color! Thanks for the laugh this morning:)

LOL! That is hysterical...and would be exactly what would happen to me too I'm sure!

Anyway...I saw your post on another blog from Jan 07, you mentioned a friend who had trouble with a VBA2C getting admitted to a hospital. Just FYI, what the hospitals did was ILLEGAL. Under the "Emergency Medical Treament And Labor Act" (EMTALA), a hospital can not refuse to admit a woman who is in labor if she gets within 150 feet of the hospital entrance!

Once she has been admitted they can not, according to the American Medical Association, force her to have a cesarean. Not that there haven't been cases of exactly that happening, and even court orders obtained to force cesareans. Blech.

Glad your friend found Diane though! BTW, Diane had an appeal hearing on Wednesday. LOTS of people showed up to support her. Hopefully the ruling will be in her favor.

That's funny! You really pulled off the authentic 80s look, though. I thought it was an old photo. You look just like I did freshman year in college!
I've been out of pocket with life & illness, but look forward to catching up on all your posts!
